Birchbox Unboxing & Review July 2013 *Jet Set Box*

So this months box from Birchbox again has been a cracking one cant wait to try all the products some I already have though and love!
No fancy box from Birch this month but I am super freaking excited to see next months as they are teaming up with InStyle!!!

 Sneak peak at the products...

Blanc Cachemire - Creme De Jour Protectice. Price: £54.75 Full Size

Now I love a good face cream but I have a love hate relationship with when they send out these tiny samples that I fall in freaking love with and then I realise the price they retail for. As you can see this is pretty expensive for a fill size but I do have to admit my favorite face cream samples seem to be the french ones so I cant wait to try this out!! It seems super light weight as well so wont be to heavy as a day cream.

Electric Hair - Intensive Treatment Masque. Price: £23.50 for Full Size

I think this bad boy here is the product I am most looking forward to trying out I am a hair mask junkie I will literally try anything that claims that it repairs hair or makes it look super soft. I haven't heard of Electric Hair before but some of my fave hair masks I had never heard of before so if this is a hit you will probably be seeing it in an upcoming blog post about some of my favorite hair masks :)

theBalm Cosmetics - InStain Long Wearing Powder Staining Blush in Swiss Dot. Price £21.50 for Full Size

Yay theBalm has finally come to UK subscription boxes!! so happy to see this in my box this month with being a makeup junkie and Beauty Vlogger you see all these ladies talk about products they can pick up easily from stores and us UK peoples cant. I am not a massive fan of the color but I hope I can make it work!!

Nougat London - Nurturing Hand Cream. Price £20 for Full Size

Come on who doesn't love a good hand cream?? I know I do and this sample is perfect size to just throw in my purse for the day. I do currently have a little tin style hand cream but I'm always wondering if it just going to pop open and then its hello hand cream bag haha. So yep cant wait to use this.

Noble Isle - Bath & Shower Gel. Price: £20 for Full Size

This is a product I have received before and I love Shower gel as much as the next person a but the scent is just not my this way to strong I prefer more of the Fruit/Candy scent and this is def not in that kinda range.

*LIFESTYLE EXTRA*
The Chia Co - Shots. Price: £4.79

Ok so if you have read my blog in the past you'll know these useless lifestyle extras bug the crap out of me!! I subscribe to these boxes for beauty items not for some weird seeds that you sprinkle of things. Ill be honest they are already in the bin!

So that is everything from this months Birchbox as I said above cant wait to see whats ins tore for next months box with them teaming up with InStyle!!

Glossybox Unboxing & Review July 2013 *Seaside Splash*

Ill be honest I have no real reason why I have been MIA recently apart from 1. I have kinda been stuck on what to blog about I want to bring more beauty reviews and more beauty related posts to here so hopefully I can start that and stick with it. Also it has been so f*@$ing hot and I don't just been hot I mean stand there and you sweat kind of hot, living on a island surround my a crap ton of water is a horrible combination for hot weather and my sanity.

Anyway let get back tot he point of this post its Beauty Box time of the month and we are kicking off with July 2013 Glossybox!! I am super happy with this box ill be honest all 3 of the boxes Ive been subscribed to have been pretty impressive lately I am loving it :)

This month theme is Seaside Splash so everything have a very beachy & under the sea look to it and I must say the box is pretty snazzy!!

A quick look at the Products...

Lets get into this...

Alterna Haircare - Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist. Price: £23 for 125ml - www.lookfantastic.com/alterna

I will say I have always been pretty intrigued by all these texture and sea salt spray and if they actually work and are worth the hype but I have naturally fluffy wavy hair and don't really like it. So I am pretty excited to have got this in a box and I haven't had to spend stupid money on it the only thing I am kind of worried about it that I have dry hair so hopefully that wont mess with it.

Essie - Sleek Sticks in So Haute. Price: £9.99 - www.boots.com/essiestockists

As we all know I am a nail polish addict so anything nail related I get super excited about plus it Essie haha Essie is probably my second fave nail polish brand and I have recently been pretty obsessed with nail wraps. The colors are more Christmasy than Id wear at this time of year but I will def be wearing them into fall!!

Sleek Makeup - Pout Paint in Rosette & Cloud 9. Price £4.99 each - www.sleekmakeup.com

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite product from the whole box!! When I first looked at the box I thought I only had the Pink but then under everything I found the white which I was so happy about as you can see from the swatches it makes an amazing pink when the colors are mixed and its totally me :)

Coola Organic Suncare Collection - Mineral Face SPF 20 Unscented. Price: £29.99 for 50ml - www.amazon.co.uk

This is one of the products that's a bit eh for me I'm sure ill use it and it does fit in with the whole theme of the box but personally not something I'm excited to use or anything. With how the weather has been recently I will have it a try under my foundation and see if it does any.

Anatomicals - Spray Misty for Me Facial Spritz. Price: £6 for 100ml - www.anatomicals.net

In the past I have received Anatomicals in boxes and have been pretty impressed and I hope I grow to like this. I have tried it once or twice but I just don't feel it does anything its meant to refresh you and can be used as a setting spray but I honestly don't see any difference.

That's all for this months Glossybox!!
Are you subscribed to Glossy? did you get anything you loved in your box? Let me know down in the comments :)

☆ HAPPY 4TH of JULY☆

I know I know a little bit strange for a Brit to be saying that but as most know I'm British born but very much American at heart and have a lot of friends int he US who are celebrating today. I have been in the US for a few 4th of July's and last years was probably the best with attending the Community Rises event for the homes lost in the Mountain Shadow area when the Waldo Canyon fire hit.

Anyway Happy 4th of July guys hope you all have a fantastic day with friends and family and lots of good food and drink :) oh also enjoy some fireworks for me :D

Even though I'm not int he USA today I still have to represent my second home so of course I'm wearing red, white & blue!!!

MAC & Urban Decay Mini Haul + Swatches ❤

So although work has been a little crazy I still managed the other night to pop and do a little bit of shopping at House of Fraser and did a little damage at MAC and Urban Decay and had to pull myself away from even looking at the Chanel counter lol

Lets start out with the little bits I picked up at MAC...

Recently I have been obsessed with looking at different MAC shadows and seeing what I want to pick up next, plus all that has shown up on my Pinterest home page has been MAC shadows I just cant get away from them haha
I have been super into my taupeish purples recently so as soon as I saw Shale I had to pick it up and it has the best shimmer that isnt to over powering it is an amazing crease color. I has a little on the fence about Jest it was one of a few I was considering but decided to go with it its a perfect lid color again has shimmer which might be a little to much for some for an all over lip color.

some swatches...

Now onto the Urban Decay purchase, when I went over tot he counter I had no intentions on buying anything really I was umming and ahhing about the Naked Basics palette but I think I am just going to borrow my sister to see if I really think its work purchasing. Then I came across the Smoked palette, I had heard SO many people rave about this when it first came out but didnt really take much notice until I was their. As soon as I did though I fell in LOVE with the colors and couldn't wait to start using it!

So far I have been using the crap out of Freestyle, Rockstar and Mushroom they very much everyday colors for me so its perfect. I know I probably wear darker eye makeup than some for everyday but I love it and that's what makes this palette perfect :)

That's all for my mini haul I just booked my flights back to the US so I am trying to put myself on a spending ban but we will see how long that last because well its wont be that long haha I can try at least right?

I really hope to have more beauty posts up this week I promise!!
