October 2012 SheSaidBeauty Unboxing & Review

I promise this will be the last beauty box review....well until next month hehe

SheSaidBeauty is probably one of my favorite beauty boxes to get in the mail it is very rare that I get a bad box which is always great when your spending £10ish a month for each box and unfortunatly like the other 2 boxes I recieved this month it wasnt over the moon fantastic but still pretty good. Its not the worst box Ive ever recieved but I looked at a product or two and thought Umm why did you put this in the box.
So lets get into the box....

I have always been a fan of SheSaidBeauty's packaging (I am a big sucker for packaging of all kinds) the aqua and hot pink just goes so well together.

The products!!!

1. Cellnique - Advanced Bio Renewal Masque.
I must admit I am loving all these face products that I think all 3 boxes I'm subscribed to are putting in but its going to get to a point where I never want to see a face product again so maybe stop while your ahead SheSaidBeauty?.
Anyway I'm really looking forward to trying this its only a tiny sample but it should be enough for me to get an idea of if I like it or not. Its a scrub masque that's "formulated with a complex of fresh fruit enzymes and acids" and its meant to "exfoliate away dead skin cells and deeply cleanses pores" which for me who is someone that has pore problems around my nose area i think this will be perfect.
A 50g pot retails for $51.
* Get 20% discount on any of Cellnique's top 13 products when using the code 20SHESAID at www.cellnique.com

2. B.Liv - Off With Those Heads.
So this is the second face products in this months box which although i wont be using all the time i think will become pretty handy when it is needed. Its decribed as a "light cooling gel that promises to remove stubborn blackheads and whiteheads" the products is also meant to apparently prevent future irritation and breakouts. I always take products that say those kind of things with a pinch of salt only because everyones skin types are different they cant really quarrenty that kinda of thing either way though will be intersting to try this product out.
A 30ml tube retails for $49 and a 45ml is $63 +shipping
* Get 20% discount on blackhead & large pores treatment kit when using code BKIT20 at www.blivskin.com

3. Herbacin - Wuta Kamille Hand Cream.
I absolutely LOVE this product its probably my second favorite in the box. I tried a small bit of this when I opened it all up and let me just say a little goes a long way!! I looked at the tin to begin with and thought this wont last very long but I think it really will well i hope so anyway. The hand cream is made up from all natural ingrediance and is designed to protect you hands against all weather type. This is def a throw in your handbag type item and the packaging is super cute, all round a great little product and Im glad this was the full size product in the box.
A 20ml tin retails for 99p and a 100ml for £3.49.

4. Biao - Beauty Rejuvenating Night Creme.
This is the final face product in the box and Ive actually seen a few people get 2 sachet's of these am I the only person that only got 1? anyway I actually use a night cream daily, I always used to think night cream was for the older generation but I honestly cant live without it now. Ive personally never heard of this brand but honestly most of the products I receive Ive never heard of but the night cream is designed to sooth, moisturize and protect against premature aging. It'll be nice to try it out and see how it compares to my current night cream.
A 118ml bottle retails for $24.50.
* Get 20% off a purchase at www.biaoskincare.com with code SHESAIDBEAUTY.

5. KeraStraight - Moisture and Protein Masks.
Now these are the products in the box I am hands down the most excited for!! Recently I have been really into trying different hair products since my hair is pretty damaged from dye and heat tools etc so I love trying things that can repair or protect my hair and anything that has keratin in I'm down to try. The two masks are described as being able to "Smooth and Renew hair inside and out" Super excited to try this out and the packets are actually a decent size so very happy :).
A 100ml pot retails for £25.

5. Myvitamins - D3 Food Supplements. *SSB TREAT*
This is the product that when I opened up my box I thought HUH why is this in a beauty box? and honestly I still don't know. I know this is an extra little thing in the box a treat apparently but id rather they didn't both I'm never going to use these and from what Ive read a lot of people are disappointed with this.
The packet retails for £2.49.

All in all I am pretty impressed with this months box and I do hope that SheSaidBeauty continues to impress me :)

October 2012 Joliebox Unboxing & Review

Ive been subscribed to Joliebox (which now by the way is part of Birchbox!! super excited about that for i think around 6-7 months (although I'm not sure and I'm to lazy to go check lol) They wowed me with my first box from them with including my favorite nail polish brand China Glaze so they set me up for great things and most boxes have been great. Ill be honest though this month has kind of disappointing the products are good but the likelihood of me actually using them isn't very high. I feel we fill out these beauty profile and the never send us things that match to that but hey that just my personal opinion.

So lets get into the box...

Just want to add I love the Fleur is on the Joliemag this month!! Inside is a small interview on her blog and Youtube channel, I always love a good read about how a Youtube star became popular :)

The products!!!

1. Iroisie - Soin Parfait Ultimate BB Cream.
I'd say over the last 4-5 months I have become a HUGE fan of BB creams I mix mine with a moisturizer and use a duo fiber brush to apply but it is so much fast and easier to start the day with just putting a BB cream on. So with being a huge BB cream can I am pretty excited to give these a try. My only gripe about the samples is I have no idea what shade they are (or if each sample is the same) they do say "The natural Pigments blend easily into the skin offering a buildable, flawless coverage" thought so we will have to see if they match at all. On another note I know the these boxes are only for us to try things out but I honestly don't think the amount of product in these would cover my face....we shall see.
* Get Free shipping and 4 samples from there range if you buy a full size BB cream and enter the code: "jolie" at checkout.

2. Jason - Bee Healthier Lip Balm Stick.
So lets begin with this I'm a HUGE lip balm/chapstick lover and well this ones also smells AMAZING I kid you not it smells like After 8 Mints or if you have no idea what they are it small like a mixture of mint and chocolate (well I think so anyway). You cant go wrong with a good lip balm and well this one is already in my purse I love it!.

3. MOA - The Green Balm. The little sample of the green balm is probably going to be one of the products I wont be using unfortunately I just have no use for it. Its meant to give moisture for chapped dehydrated skin which personally I just Germolene but that's because I grew up with using that but I can imagine this will be a great little product for someone to throw in there bags for everyday use. The really great thing about this product though is that its suitable for sensitive skin which is always a big plus for me.

4. LOV Organic - Lov is Beautiful.
This product is the Lifestyle product in the box which I'm not really sure if ive ever recieved a lifestyle product from Jolie before but personally I don't see the point this is a beauty sample box not a lifestyle sample box anyone else with me?? The this I really do like about this product though is the smell its a blend of white and green tea and has hints of peach and mango that's packed with Antioxidants and Zinc, it seriously smells so yummy! I probably wont drink it (strictly hot tea drinker here) but still smells amazing.
* Enter code "JOLIELOV" at checkout at www.lov-organic.com and get free shipping.

5. Ritessens - Cleanser or Exfoliant.
This bad boy is the full size product of the box and I'm really impressed with the size of the product not many boxes give large full size products away. I personally received the exfoliant of the 2 and I'm a little wary to try it due to my skin never being co-operative and I'm always worried with new products if they are going to break me out. Its says its "a powerful blend of natural plant extracts and Moroccan Argan oil" I am a huge fan of Argan oil and Ive heard a lot about Moroccan oil recently so def cant wait to try it and hopefully the scent isn't to strong or over powering.

So over all I would say worth the £10 subscription I will probably use 2 maybe 3 out of the 5 items.

October 2012 Glossybox Unboxing & Review

Last week my Glossybox arrived and I was so excited to see what was in it due to the previous month not being fantastic for me anyway. The products I received some I'll use and some will probably be thrown into my sample box or given to a friend that I now will probably use it.
Anyway lets get into the products....

This months box was all about DIY BEAUTY which I really like the idea of its always nicer to have the option of being able to try different beauty treatments in the comfort of you own home :)

Also instead of the regular sticker they have they added a Breast Cancer sticker, I thought it was a really nice touch for this month.

The Products!!!

1. Dermalogica - 3 Step day and night kit.
In the kit you receive a cleanser, toner and moisturizer, Ive heard a lot about Dermalogica recently and I'm really intrigued to actually try this little kit out. My skin is very tempremental going between dry to oily and can be sensitive at times so I'm always worried about trying new face products with this but I have high hopes for these products.
The full kit retails for £12

2. Anatomicals - Don't just clean it woman, scrub it body scrub.
I am an absolute sucker for any type of body wash and love to try new ones out. I was happy to see this in this months box and cant wait to give it a try I need a change from my current one (I'm just to lazy to switch the one in the bathroom with my many other)
The scent is supposed to be pink grapefruit personally I don't think it smells of that but it does have a lovely fruity scent to it which is my favorite kind.
The 200ml Tube retails for £3.49

 3. Skinetica - Anti Blemish.
When I saw this I wasn't 100% sure what it was meant to do, so many products these days throw blemish onto their products. This is supposed to be a unique solution to clearing skin of blemishes in 2-3 day with no side effects. Well I have to disagree my sister started using this when it arrived after 2 days of usage red patches started to appear around the area's that the product had been used so really not happy with this product and probably wont be using it again.
100ml Bottle retails for £6.99

4. Yves Rocher France - Moisturising Cream Lipstick - Couleurs Nature.
Honestly if this was in a Nude/Pink color I would be over the moon happy, I have only just got into lipsticks and from trial and error I just don't suit dark lippy :( The color is gorgeous though I really wish I could pull it off but just means one of my friends is going to get a nice little gift.
Lipstick retails for £14.50
* Use 5GLOSSYR30 at www.yves-rocher.co.uk and get £5 off any order over £30 + free shipping.

Those are the 4 products I received this month and to be fair as I write about them I think I will use at least half of them and with how much they all retail for - £36.98  I have defiantly got my moneys worth so that makes me a happy girlie.
